health insurance
Here we go again folks!
I am, as always, at work. Don't really want to do a Dooce , so suffice to say that I have nothing at all to do today, am very bored and have spent all morning on the phone trying to work out the german health insurance system. I've lived here for 5 years now and it continues to amaze me by being ridiculously complicated - every time I think I've got it, they come up with another rule or anthoer form or something, just to make it a bit more complicated than I thought. Makes me realise how fantastic the NHS is - ok, so maybe the NHS isn't fantastic, but at least you can just go to the doctors and not worry about having to pay, whether the insurance covers you for it etc etc.
